It was sad to hear about my cousin Donny's passing... He was a kind and gentle soul. I have many fond memories of us all together up at the Elwood farm where he grew up. He loved his family and especially Patsy, dearly. I will miss talking to him and wish we would have gone back to visit him. Peace to you cousin Don... Brad & Ellen - Seattle

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his Word the Bible along with the site jw.org that has a wealth of information about God's future promises for those asleep in death and for all who are living. May all the many wonderful memories that Donald your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

Very sorry for your loss mom. Don was a very good man, he loved you very much. Your kids loved him too. When he told you that when he married you, he married your kids too, that is a true and wonderful man. Heaven gained a true angel! You will be missed Dad.... Love Robyn & TJ

I am glad that I had the opportunity to work with Don for a number of years. Don was always good for a comment or two. I remember a meeting where we had a health related motivational speaker who was suggesting we set a goal for ourselves ..... Don said he was either going to grow another foot in height or lose a hundred pounds. When I was ready to retreat from Bedford he always gave his assistant's that were moving on a name plate for their desk but since I already had one, he gave me a book from 1965 that had three months of Times Mail newspapers. This was really a special gift since it had lots of pictures and articles of friends and family from when I was growing up. Don will be missed.
