Ruby was a neighbor, just over the hill from us, for twenty years and was a dear friend of my husbands, Robert Meadows, all her life. They went to school together in Oolitic and Needmore and were playmates as children in Avoca, IN. Ruby was a kind and loving friend and neighbor. She loved our Lord Jesus and was a witness for His love and mercy and forgiveness all her life. My husband accepted Jesus when he was in a nursing home just a few days before he passed and I wanted Ruby to know that but moved away and never got to tell her. Now I am sure she knows. They loved talking to each other for hours about "the old days" and Dallas and I just sat close by and listened and smiled about their close friendship. It was a good time. I am so sorry for the families loss. She will be dearly missed.

To all Sis Ruby's family.....my deepest sympathies. She was one of the most precious ladies I have ever met. It is an honor to say I knew Sis Ruby. Her deep commitment to her Savior will always be a constant reminder to those left behind that we can make it. A prayer warrior that I've counted on so many times. Even though I didn't see her as often as some, I loved her consistency and her contagious personality.
