Obituary of Ronald Kent Rainey

Bedford – Ronald Kent “Ronnie” Rainey, 44, of Bedford, died at 12:40 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born November 5, 1972 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Dale and Patricia (Ronk) Rainey. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Dale and Donna Rainey, of Bloomington; his caregivers, Curtis and Michelle Stroud, of Bedford; a sister, Lisa Rainey, of Illinois; his grandmother, Rita Norman, of Bedford; aunts and uncles, Janet and Frank Basinger, of Bedford, Greg and Pam Rainey, of Springville. He was preceded in death by his mother, his paternal grandparents, Phyllis and Ollie Hall, and Richard Dale Rainey. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West.
