Obituary of Louise E. Dunlap

Bedford – Louise E. Dunlap, 99, of Bedford, died at 8:30 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at White River Lodge. Born November 20, 1917, she was the daughter of George and Laura (Tinkle) Allegree. She married Billy Dunlap on January 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1969. She retired as an attendant from Mill’s Laundry in Bedford. She was a member of the Dive Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Richard Dunlap and wife, Marie, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Dichol Parlow and husband, Jonathan, Stacie Bennett, Aimee Dunlap, Bryce Bennett and wife, Marci; five great grandchildren, Seylor, Cage and Amelia Partlow, Brynlea and Kaedyn Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and long-time companion, Ralph Isom; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Joe McAdams officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 20th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, December 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
