We love this family very much. As a young newly wed couple over 30 years ago, my wife and I found their friendship to be what helped us when I took my bride 600 miles from her home in MO. We spent many evenings at the Phillip's home playing board games and good Christian fellowship. It helped with the homesickness. I appreciate the godly example they set before us and the love they showed us. May God encourage and strengthen Sis Phillips and the rest of the family. It is difficult to express my love and grief for Alan and all rest of you. He was genuine.
As I have lived my life, I've noticed people that were especially kind, loving, and generous with my family (particularly with my parents and grandparents.)
When Mama Ora needed a handicap accessible restroom, Alan stepped in and saved "the day." That is just one example of love that he showed my grandparents and I remember many other ways.

I remember when I was just a child, Alan would go up to have his broken arm prayed for. It left an impression on me that I have never forgotten.
