My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there will be a resurrection. With this hope it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. At 1 Peter 5:7 we are encouraged to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. I am so saddened to read about Brian's death. I hadn't seen him for many years but remember him as a great kid with so much promise. He was always polite and helpful and had a great smile. I just wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers. I can't imagine losing a child and the grief that comes with it. It was hard enough to lose a brother at a young age. Time has made it more bearable and it will for you too. I feel it is important to keep their memory alive in order to cope. I hope you all are able to reminisce about your son or brother soon.

Dear Denny, Melinda and family:
Chris and I send our deepest condolences on Brian's passing. Believe me when I say we know the path you are walking.
I can tell you God never forgets the grieving, and Brian stayed with us as long as he was able. He is always as close as your heart, and even though the pain of loss is horrible right now you can rest assured he is safe and happy . . . he made it through! I believe that Brian never gave up; but, as he tired from the fight, he raised his hand to where God could grab hold and lift him the rest of the way. I pray his passing was peaceful.
You have the memories of a beautiful life. And it is only fitting that we thank God for every day of Brian's life and trust His promise of life eternal. We not only cling to it; we count on it. May God bless and keep you all.
