Remember spending every day from elementary thru high school graduation together, living 2 blocks apart and sneeking out at night, your Mom pegging pants for us, your Dad's wordworking and the beautiful grandfather clock he made for us, high school reunions (GO BIG REDS) and visits back to Parkersburg to see our families and each other, your wedding with the 4 of us, your first little house across from Karen's parents and the new ranch down the street, the births and early years of babies and a few visits back and forth after life got really busy. Lots of fun times and memories. I thank God for you and pray He will comfort and watch over Karen, Brooks and Becky and the grandkids. Karen, Brooks and Becky,
Hearing the news of your loss just broke my heart. But I want you to know that it also took me back to a time where GREAT memories were made. Those memories brought a smile to my face today.
I loved coaching WITH Bob and I despised coaching AGAINST him. All too often I would lose to his teams. That's where the old saying "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" reigns true. As I said, I LOVED coaching WITH Bob. He always brought his natural "engineering" brain to the game and that made our all-start teams nearly unstoppable!
Bob was a good friend. I loved all the times we got to spend with you guys and I loved how close our kids were growing up together not to mention me having the pleasure of teaching the girls dance. It just seems like the Dailey's were in nearly every aspect of my life for a season.
I'm so sad for all of you and I want you to know that my prayers are with you for the days, weeks and months ahead for peace and strength and comfort. I know the pain will eventually ease and then those memories...oh those memories...of a better day will soon bring a smile to your face too!! Love you all and my heart is with you during this time!!
