Charlie will be welcomed in heaven by the rest of the "Eastern, Western Ave gang",,,I think he is the last of them. Charles was a good, kind man. He always made bowls out of a solid piece of wood and donated to our family reunion to be auctioned off. They were always a hot item and raised a bunch of money as usually there were bidding wars to get them. He will be missed. Prayers to all the family. Rest in peace. Aaron Wellman

My Dad, Charles Branam, worked with Charlie for decades on the railroad (Monon, L&N, CSX). They used to play golf together and sometimes went fishing. Dad passed away 6-28-2011 and I'm sure he and Charlie will be playing that big course in the sky. My condolences to the Wellman Family.
