My dear Shawn,
I am so very sad that you are no longer on this earth. Even though we never got to meet, I have enjoyed and cherished our friendship in letters, emails and little packages for almost twenty years. I look around my house, and there are subtle reminders of you everywhere. I have the wood burned picture hanging in my kitchen, for example, and look at it every day. You have been a wonderful friend, wife, mother, and nurse. You are missed and loved by so many people. My heartfelt condolences to your family.

My condolences to the family. Please find comfort from God's word the bible that says that there is going to be a resurrection. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see her again. We are given more hope and comfort at John 5:28,29 that says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Please continue to trust in God and he will be your strength and sustain you. May you be comforted in knowing God's promise to wipe out every tear from our eyes as he does away with death, pain and sorrow forever. Prayers for your family at this time. Fond remembrances of Shawn in high school- especially in the LARC Cubicles. She shot me with a water pistol one time- really soaked me in the resource center. I also fondly remember her mother at the old Hooks Drug Store. Always sad to lose a classmate. Glad she became a nurse, I'm sure she was a good one.

I worked with Shawn at Visteon, she was such a nice person, never had a bad word for anyone. When she said she was going to nursing school, that just fit her, she was such a caring, compassionate person, she would make a wonderful nurse. I just ran into her at Wal-mart around Christmas. I am so sorry for your loss.
