Oldest Granddaughter of James A Longest,
Sincerest Condolences for the loss of Uncle Rex. I'm sure it has been close to 18 years since I last saw him. I remember going to Vegas for the slot machine tournaments. The only picture I have, (mom probably has the rest), is one of the tournaments from around Halloween. Rex was dressed up as a priest.

Wiseman family. I'm so sorry I will not be there to honor your father. He was certainly larger than life probably a little ahead of his time. A very learned and intelligent man with a sense of humor that some people did not always understand.
I personally will never forget the time we visited to tell everyone about being pregnant with our wonderful son Ethan. Rex was never a man of few words but I still remember the look on his face when we told him! He was speechless which I know is a little hard to believe!
And who can forget Billy the goat! He told us that he had killed Billy and made him into BBQ for our visit! Jill and I were horrified!
Our road trip to the Grand Ol Opry; no one wanted to give you their room number because we all knew we would be awaken at some ungodly hour which we were, not sure how you got those rooms numbers.
The long rides in the Cadillac never sure we would make it back alive. Yes Rex you were truly a character and I know everyone, your family and friends, will miss you horribly!
