Obituary of Patricia Branaman

Bedford – Patricia “Patti” (Sons) Branaman, 72, of Bedford, died at 12:37 am at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Born December 7, 1942 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Charles and Betty (Hill) Sons. She married Marvin “Gene” Branaman on September 15, 1961 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Christian Church. She was a volunteer with the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Dunn Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Kristy Endris and Lisa Brinkworth and husband, Dave; a son, Tim Branaman and wife, Christy, all of Bedford; six grandchildren, Josh, Joseph, Jade, Michael, Hannah and Madison; five great grandchildren, Ben, Eve, Bella and Charlotte Chastain and Emma Endris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Linda Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Josh Chastain, Joseph Chastain, Michael Endris, Tim Branaman, Dave Brinkworth, Joe Jakub and an Honorary Pallbearer, Ed Johnson.
