To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." I met Wesley 21 years ago when I came to work for SASSI. He was a joy to be around. He use to come into the office and laugh, cut up and he always kissed his grandma Margie good bye. He loved his Dad (Chuck) and his grandparents very much. When Chuck and Betty got married , he was really happy to finally have a mother. He would come into the office and always said he loved her before he left. He lived his own life , a very private one but he always loved and cherished his parents, Betty and Chuck Miller. He will be so missed by all. But he is no longer in pain and he is not suffering anymore. Keep comfort in knowing he is with his grandparents and most of all Lord Jesus Christ.

I am very sorry for your loss!! Wes was an amazing person and friend. Wes was my absolute favorite patient on OTU and no matter how horrible he was feeling, he always went out of his way to make sure I was having a good night at work. I will always remember just chilling out in his room talking and our frequent walks to McDonald's for dinner. And when I wasn't able to go on our food runs, Wes always brought me back a Coke or a smoothie just to make me happy. He loved his family and talked about you all often. I cannot even begin to understand the grief and sadness you are feeling, but please know that Wes was loved by all here on OTU. I will miss him, his fun personality, and his awesome colored mohawks!

Dear Chuck I would not to be able to express in words the admiration I had for Wesley. I performed his multivisceral transplant many years ago and he was definitely a warrior.
