Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Judah

Oolitic Mary Elizabeth Judah, 90, of Oolitic, died at 2:55 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born January 9, 1920, she was the daughter of Clyde and Ola (Staggs) Moore. She married Robert Judah on September 24, 1938 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Judith Stewart of Needmore; three grandchildren, Brad Stewart, Linda Short and Karen Mowrey; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Larry Judah; three brothers, Eugene, Clyde and Lawrence Moore; two sisters, Jane Bridwell and Doris Moore; two grandsons, Larry Judah and Jeff Stewart; a daughter-in-law, Mollie Judah. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, January 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 14th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, January 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
