The bus ministry was growing. Those that were doing the Lord’s work were compelling others to come to Bethel Faith Temple. It was rewarding and wonderful. Pastor Cobb was good with it until African Americans began spilling off of the bus and in to Sunday School. I was not surprised just quite disappointed. He had uttered the N word
many times in my presence and each time he did he grew smaller to me. Can a man of God
do and say such things? I am confident he is in the arms of the one cast out of Heaven.

Hello Barbara, I hope you remember me and pray you are well. For some reason, you were called to my memory after all these years. I left People's Bank in 1993 so it has been 25 yrs! I'm sorry to see that your husband passed on to glory and happy though that he left such a wonderful legacy. Many things have changed but the most important thing is that both Bill and myself are ministers and preach in the jails in Florida where we live. We attend Wausau Assembly of God down there and New Hope Four Square Fellowship while here. We are in Indiana for the summer in Greencastle. I want you to know that you were a very good Christian example to me while we worked together. Barbara, I hope you get this and are able to let me know how you are doing. I believe the Lord brought you to mind and I will be lifting you up in prayer. God Bless you always, dear friend! Becky Huskey

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. He's now in Heaven worshiping Jesus. I have been thinking of you folks for the last month. I just didn't know where you were. I'm from the Blanchard Avenue PCG in Findlay, OH, was there when Morene and Evelyn were pastors and the Duidashs as well as several others. I remember the blessings we all had at the Tri-State campgrouonds in Hillsdale, MI. I'm really going back aways but those memories are forever in my mind. You folks were such a blessing and I will always remember your love for Jesus showing all around you.I pray God will just hold you in His big arms during this time of grief. I lost the love of my life on September 10, 2010 and I
am amazed at what God has done for me since that time. One thing I do know is soon we'll be in Heaven, too. And I can't wait. Love, Marlene (Risner) Greene

The Tri-State campgrounds were a dump!
Grass growing out of the tennis and basketball courts. Dilapidated dorms that needed paint. Limited hot water which resulted in most showers being ice cold. The leadership could have given a shit and provided better facilities or made a half-assed effort to fix them. Instead they were too worried about “did you get the Holy Ghost?”

Dear Sis. Cobb: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know if you remember me or not but I was with the Blanchard Avenue Pentecostal Church in Findlay. I have thought
of you often and wondered if you were ok. I pray you will let Jesus hold you in His big arms during this time. I lost my husband September 10, 2010 and it was amazing how He took (and is still taking) care of me. Love, Marlene (Risner) Greene

Oh my, what a time they are having in heaven!!!! I'm sure he is rejoicing with his family and his buddy, my dad, Everett Webb.
Had the privilege of one last hug on Saturday 7/18/15 at Sister Dora Thomas's funeral.
Such an inspiring man of God. So loving and caring. I have so many fond memories.
I thank God often for the "God-thing" that put Bro. Claude and Denny at Cornerstone Church in Oct. 2007 where they were able to pray with my husband and lead him to Christ. He was a believer had just not made a public confession until then.
We will miss him for awhile here on earth and look forward to that heavenly reunion.
My love and prayers to Barbara, and all of his children, grands & greats.

So sorry for your loss, but excited about his home going. I am so glad I got to talk to him and joke with him at the reunion. I have so many good memories of Claude and Barb. I remember when I was little (maybe 10 or 11) they were at our church in Springville and Claude wanted me to come home with them, they lived at Needmore. I had been sick and mom didn't want me to go but Claude begged until mom said yes. I had such a good time. They were all so kind to me. Such a Godly example for all of us. I will miss him but heaven looks so much brighter now. God's blessing and comfort to all of you. You are in my prayers.
