Obituary of Margaretta Garland

Bedford – Margaretta Garland, 88, of Bedford, died at 5:15 am on Monday, July 13, 2015 at her residence. Born February 5, 1927, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Richard and Viola (Easton) Inman. She married Wilford Garland and he preceded her in death. She had worked at Sarkes-Tarzian in Bloomington and later in the circulation department for the Times-Mail. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include a son, David Garland and wife, Amy, of Bedford; a brother, Jack Inman of Michigan; three grandchildren, Landon Garland, Lindsay Staggs and husband, Aaron, and Elizabeth Garland; four great grandchildren, Christian Walther, Madison, Alexandra and Elliot Staggs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, John, Roger and Jim Inman. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
