Mullis family...
I am now living in California and just saw this of Elsie going Home to Heaven.
May God continually give you His peace during this time...and with each thought of this dear, sweet lady, a smile to yalls hearts and faces.
Elsie was one of my Sunday School teachers and youth leaders growing-up in the Free Methodist Church.
She was always greeting me and others with a smile.
While she will be missed; we all know that we will be reunited with her some day when we all hit the Pearly Gates of Heaven.
Thank you all for sharing her with all who were blessed to know and call her friend.

Our memories of Elsie and Perry are many and indelible. After graduating from seminary, my wife and I were really "green" and Elsie's and Perry's wisdom were just what we needed as we assumed the position of Youth Pastor and wife. Hours of planning, IITYWYCTOH, golf, mushroom hunting, picnics, prayer times, bible studies, and so much more, were experiences we'll never forget. Elsie, though a Mom of six wonderful sons, always had time to give of herself to VBS, youth ministries, Sunday school and regular church attendance. Plus she worked at Mullis Petroleum full time. What a lady! We thank God she's now home.

What a beautiful lady Elsie Mullis has been throughout her lifetime! She has been such a wonderful example of grace and kindness through the years for many of us in the Bedford Free Methodist Church!
She was a very good friend to both of our mothers and was an inspiration to both of them. She has now joined them in heaven! She will be greatly missed and our prayers go out to all of the Mullis family, but especially to Perry, during this time of loss and grief. We affirm our faith and hope in the living Christ, and pray that His grace will sustain and keep you all in the coming days!
