Glenn Duncan passed away ? It seems like it was months ago, since I used to go to that little AOG church in Mishawaka back in (from Aug 1973 - May of 1974)
I could say a lot here, much more than all of you have said thus far. But I would think of Glenn all the time since I left that church to start going to Lester Sumrall's church in South Bend. He would preach like a man on fire with truth. There was no one like him.
He would roll up his sleeves and preach Truth at us as if hurling fire in to your soul..as if it was our last day on earth.
One night, God did a supernatural thing in that church. One night, I was about to stand up and give a short testimony, when an elderly saint there named Sister Conrad gave a message in tongues and I was standing there not knowing what to say... frozen and sorta embarrassed. Miss Conrad had no idea I had was stood up - a few rows in back of her - to give a testimony and the entire church was petrified. The timing of her utterance and my standing was pinpoint simultaneous. Then, after about 20 seconds of embarrassment, a prophecy came forth and I believe it was to me. I will never forget that prophecy that Mrs Teeter spoke that night, and then, after that, I gave my testimony, Bro, Duncan goes: "Wow, thats just how it was in the old time Pentecost, as things like that just dont happen anymore..God give us more like that !"
Lots of other supernatural things would happen at that church in Mishawaka, and many have passed on since then, but I will never forget them or Glenn. I know He's walking with Jesus now, and exited over the fact that we will soon be with him, and with all of them up there...Believe me that day is now breathing down our necks. If you want to know more just email me at STev5wi@aol.com God bless you all, you sweet people in Bedford, and God comfort you, the precious family members, Its been over a year since Glenn died, and I was wondering about Glen, and the Lord had led me to this page..I had no idea he had passed on..My heart is heavy today..yet glad in that "his cares are all passed, he's home at last...ever to rejoice"..Even as he and all of us would sing from those hymn books at that church there on 3rd street in Mishawaka.... Brother Duncan was a good man. He embodied his faith and was always available to comfort and console.
My Mother and Father thought the world of Brother Duncan and through them I came to know him and I appreciated his help during their end of life journey.
He will be missed by many.

Pastor Duncan was such a tremendous example of living a Christ like life as we are directed to do. He had such a powerful, yet kind loving way about him that made you feel as though you had been friends for years even after just meeting him.
He made a difference in so many lives that we will never know until we meet again one day with the Lord.
My deepest respect and sympathies,
Brien Fields
