Obituary of Paul Keith
Williams – Paul Keith, 79, of Williams, lost a four year battle with multiple myloma at 9:50 pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born August 25, 1935 in Diablock, KY, he was the son of Daily and Bertie (Cornett) Keith. He married Marjorie Jewel Sanders Keith on September 8, 1955 and she survives. He worked for Indiana Limestone Co. and was a farmer and owner of Keith & Sons Bulldozing. He was a bus driver and retired as a custodian for the North Lawrence Community School System. He was a charter member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Williams where he had served as a deacon, secretary-treasurer and song leader. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel, of Williams; a daughter, Pauline Eads and husband, Rich of Athens, AL; three sons, LaRon Keith and wife, Kelly, of Deland, FL and Micah Keith and wife, Lori, of Bedford and Mickey Keith and wife, Angie, of Mitchell; nine grandchildren, Corey, Eric, Graham, Levi and Cody Keith, Jessica Goldburg, Kyle Eads, Chelsea Tipton and Chad Tipton; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Amos Keith and wife, Juanita, of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Regina Brock and husband, Lee, of Williams and Joyce Tipton and husband, Jim, of Lexington, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Andy and Brian Keith and a grandson, Leighton Keith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4th at Bethel Baptist Church in Williams with Bro. Ed Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion and D.A.V. Chapter 2. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 4th at Bethel Baptist Church.
