Obituary of Ruby Edna Wallheiser

Bedford – Ruby Edna Wallheiser, 106, of Bedford, died at 1:00 am on Friday, February 06, 2015 at Johnson’s Christian Village. Born September 7, 1908 in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Fred and Pearl (Whithman) Book. She married Thomas Wallheiser on November 28, 1934 and he preceded her in death. She retired from Sears & Roebuck and was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Bennett of San Diego CA; two grandchildren, Kara Barnett and husband, Steven, and Douglas Temple all of San Diego, CA; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Louis Montgomery, Gertrude Bickenheuser and Helen Wever and a brother, Walter Book. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 11th at the First Christian Church in Bedford with Rev. Alan Cloar officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
