Jamie, Jenny, Johnny, Pam, Michelle, I was shocked and saddened to hear about John's passing. I'm in detroit right now to see my nephew get married and didn't know about it until my brother called me to tell me. It just breaks my heart that I wasn't able to be there. Very sad to hear of John's passing. He was a great friend and a great person. We were looking forward to another road trip now that he was back. Jennifer and John, I hope you realize how much he was loved and what a unique individual he was. I will truly miss him.

Jami, I don't know if you remember me or my family, we attended the Presbyterian church, my brother Tom and I were seniors when you were a freshman, my brother Eric was in your class. I know how hard it is to lose a sibling and a father, especially at such a young age. I'm just so very sorry for your loss. John and I caught up on face book and it sounded like he was just so very proud of his children. My thoughts are with all of you, and I hope that as your sorrow eases, loving memories wrap you in warmth and bring a smile to your hearts.

I knew John well as a boy and was fortunate to have rekindled our friendship on FB as an adult. He was simply amazing. I remember how you begged me to come to Hawaii for a visit for my 60th b-day last year. You told me that you would take me to many beautiful places, oh how I wish now I had taken you up on that offer. You were ALWAYS so sweet at school and on FB. Thank you for your friendship.
