Obituary of Ruby Hamner

Newnan, GA Ruby Hamner, 82, of 40 Shepard Way, Newnan, GA, died at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 24, 2004 in Newnan, GA. Born January 31, 1922 in New Castle, IN, she was the daughter of Thomas and Susie (Fritz) Worl. She married Harold Hamner on October 4, 1941 and he died on October 15, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Dean Hamner of Newnan, GA Alan Hamner of Baycliff, TX, Mark Hamner of El Paso, TX, and John Hamner of Fort Pierce, FL; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, four sisters and one son, Michael Hamner. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Gary Spear officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 1st and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
