Obituary of N. Florence Ashcraft

Bedford N. Florence Ashcraft, 79, of Bedford, died at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her residence. Born September 21, 1930 in Greene Co., she was the daughter of Max and Myrtle (Long) Holmes. She married Harold Ashcraft on April 29, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1992. She was a group leader for RCA in Bloomington and retired in 1978. She attended the Wesleyan Church and was a former volunteer at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Mosier of Bedford, Christy West and husband, Dennis of Springville; four grandchildren, Cody Mosier and wife, Jessica of Columbus, Kimberly Earl and husband, Damon of Springville, Steven West and wife, Sheyanne of Dubois, IN, Stacey Osborne and husband, Bryce of Springville; ten great grandchildren, Baylee, Layton, Hayden and Emilee Mosier, Dakota, Dalton and Dawson Earl, Addisyn and Reece Osborne, Alyvia West; one brother, Keith Holmes of Springville and one sister, Anna Marie Shelton of Springville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Gene, Robert and Donald Holmes; a sister, Gloria McArtor and a son-in-law, Tony Mosier. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Phil McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 2nd and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, October 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
