Obituary of Michael O. Hamilton
Heltonville Michael O. Hamilton, of Heltonville, died at 10:10 pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from injuries suffered in a farming accident.
Born September 9, 1949 in Greene County, IN, he was the son of Ora B. and Ada Mae (Ashcraft) Hamilton. He married Vickie Myers on November 10, 1978 and she survives. He was a retired former co-owner of C.P.I. Supply in Bedford and Marshall, IL, a farmer and cattleman, serving on the Hereford and Angus Associations and a board member of the Indiana Hereford Association. Throughout the years he was actively involved in community organizations and clubs. He was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie, of Heltonville; a son, Hunter Hamilton of Heltonville; a daughter, Crystal Siegfred and husband, Kyle of Trafalgar, IN; one grandson, Keegan Siegfred; a brother, Tim Mark Hamilton and wife Teri of Springville; his mother-in-law, Judy Myers of Bedford; and dear friends, Charlie Craig and his wife, Missy and son, Cody of Fayetteville, Darrell Smith and his wife, Cindy of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews that he dearly loved. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 10th at the Hillcrest Christian Church with Pastor Gary Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and on Tuesday, September 10th at Hillcrest Christian Church from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
