Obituary of Paul Gene Hallatt

Bedford, Paul Gene Hallatt, 23, of 9415 State Road 158 in Bedford, died at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, May 17th, at 913 Walnut Street in Oolitic. Born on January 21, 1983 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ron and Rosie (Milhous) Hallatt. He was a welder at Indiana Steel in Bedford and was a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcement Ironworkers Local Union #585. Surviving are his parents, Ron and Rosie Hallatt of Bedford, his fiance, Brittany Lanham of Oolitic, one son: Wesley Scott Hallatt of Oolitic, three sisters: Cristie Freeman Kellar and her husband, Kevin of Bloomfield, Denise Hallatt Gaskins and her husband, Ron of Greencastle, IN, Debbie Hallatt Schaefer of Calabash, N.C., two brothers: Rick Hallatt and his wife, Becky of Plainfield, Mike Hallatt and his wife, Betsy of Danville, paternal grandfather: Jack Hallatt of Albuquerque, N.M., several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th, at the Cresthaven Memeory Gardens with burial following. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 19th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
