Obituary of Glenn E. Hall

Bedford Glenn E. Hall, 85, a resident of the Bliss House in Bedford, died at 4:34 am on Monday, July 21, 2003 at Westview Manor in Bedford. Born May 26, 1918 in Silverville, Indiana, he was the son of Claude and Arless (Fisher) Hall. He married Violet M. Reynolds on March 31, 1943 and she survives. He retired from Central Foundry in Bedford. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford, F.O.P., A.A.R.P., U.A.W. LOCAL 440, FARM BUREAU, BEDFORD YORK RITE BODIES, CEDAR LODGE F & AM OF LEESVILLE, GILLEN POST #33 AMERICAN LEGION, PAST MEMBER OF THE LAWRENCE COUNTY FAIR BOARD AND WAS A VETERAN OF WW II. SURVIVING WITH HIS WIFE, VIOLET ARE TWO SONS, DARRELL HALL OF CHANDLER, AZ AND DWIGHT HALL OF INDIANAPOLIS; ONE BROTHER, LEONARD HALL OF GUTHRIE; ONE SISTER, KATHERINE RUSSELL OF TERRE HAUTE, IN. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SISTERS AND ONE BROTHER. Funeral Information FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED AT 1:00 PM ON THURSDAY, JULY 24TH FROM THE ELMWOOD CHAPEL OF THE DAY & CARTER MORTUARY WITH REV. ROBERT DAILEY OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN PINHOOK CEMETERY. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 3:00 PM TO 8:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 23RD AND FROM 10:00 AM UNTIL THE HOUR OF SERVICE ON THURSDAY AT THE DAY & CARTER MORTUARY. MILITARY RITES WILL BE ACCORDED AT THE GRAVESIDE BY MEMBERS OF GILLEN POST #33 AMERICAN LEGION.
