Obituary of Violet M. Hall

Bedford Violet M. Hall, 85, of Bedford, died on Friday, July 30, 2020, at the Bliss House in Bedford. Born December 6, 1924 in Lawrence County, Violet was the daughter of Everett and Dorothy (Allen) Reynolds. She married Glenn E. Hall on March 31, 1943 and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2003. Violet was a member of the First Christian Church, Farm Bureau, Erie Homemakers Club, Eastern Star of Leesville, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a past member of the Lawrence County Fair Board and the Lawrence County Extension Board. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Hall of Chandler, Arizona and Dwight Hall of Indianapolis; one daughter-in-law, Jane Hall; one sister, Neva Tirey and husband, George of Venice, Florida; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday August 2nd in the Elmwood chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Reverend Bob Dailey and Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow at Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 1st and from 9:30 am until time of service on August 2nd at Day & Carter.
