Obituary of Anna Lee Hall

Bloomington, Anna Lee Hall, 73, of 3326 Michael Avenue in Bedford, died at 4:23 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born on January 10, 1930, in Decatur County, IN, she was the daughter of George Turner and Ida Mae (Flint) Chadwell. She married Lester Hall on September 1, 1973 and he survives. She was a cook and kindergarten teachers aid for the North Lawrence School system and was a teacher for Pal Nursery School in Bedford. She was a member of the Dive Christian Church in Bedford. Surviving with the husband of Bedford are: one daughter: Deborah (Nikirk) Underwood of Bedford; two sons: Gregory Nikirk of Bedford and Terry Nikirk of Baytown, Texas; one step-daughter: Ruth Ann Tolliver of Bedford; two brothers: James Leroy Chadwell of Tennessee and George Chadwell of Greensburg, IN; two sisters: Lucille Donica of Shelbyville, IN and Norma Burner of Greensburg, IN; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband: Walter Nikirk and one great granddaughter: Susanna Day Nikirk. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd, at the Dive Christian Church in Bedford, with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21st, and Tuesday, July 22nd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the Dive Christian Church.
