Obituary of John Reid Hall

John Reid Hall John Reid Hall, 86, passed away at 9:15 P.M. Friday, December 7th at the Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born on April 4, 1921 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Samuel J. Hall and Ida A. (Hicks) Hall. He was retired from the Indiana Department of Labor, a member of the Bedford First Baptist Church, Capitol City Masonic Lodge #312 of Indianapolis, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine of Indianapolis. He was a Veteran of WW II and a member of the American Legion Gillen Post #33. Surviving is one daughter: Carolyn Noel of Spring Hill, TN; three sons: Thomas R. Hall, Joseph L. Hall and John M. Hall all of Johnson County, IN; five grandchildren: Joseph J. Hall, Jenny Hall, Ashley Hall, Brooklyn Noel and Blake Noel. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, December 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Friends may call on Monday from Noon until the service hour at Day & Carter Mortuary. Graveside committal services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 11th at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. Donations Information The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bedford First Baptist Church.
