Obituary of Dennis Haley

Lyons Dennis Haley, 60, of 195 South Slinkard, Lyons, IN, died at 8:38 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born July 1, 1945 in Posey County, he was the son of Harold (Pedad) and Irrus (Hague) Haley. He married Susan Burch on October 14, 1984 and she survives. He was an over the road truck driver for Smith Transport of Pennsylvania and a member of the Teamsters Union #135. He attended the Bethel Baptist Church in Linton and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving with his wife, Susan, is his mother, Irrus Haley of Florida; three daughters, Sandy Utterback of Tennessee, Tammy Ives of Sullivan, IN and Denise Isley of Seymour, IN; one son, Joe McKinnon of Newberry, IN; nine grandchildren; one sister, Vickie Haley of Nebraska and one brother, Cloud Haley of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Haley. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 7th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating. A graveside committal will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Pararie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons, IN. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
