Obituary of Helen L. Green

BedfordHelen L. (England) Green, of 1811 Bedford Lane Sun City Florida died at 1:30am Friday April 9, 2004 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa Florida. Born March 9, 1925 in Casey IL, she was the daughter of Dick and Florence (Cutwright) Brandenburg. She was a homemaker. She married William L. England on January 16, 1945 and he died in 1983. She later married Carl Green on November 21, 1999 and he survives. Survivors include one daughter: Karen Wright of North Fort Myers, Florida, two sons Dr. Roger England of Bedford, and Bryan England of Springville. Two step-sons, Joe Green of French Lick, and Dan Green of Bedford. One step-daughter, Rita Martin of Spencer. Seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. One brother Robert Brandenburg of Brownsville, Texas and one sister Ruth Staley of Casey IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and two brothers, Paul and Herschel Brandenburg. She was a member of the first Assembly of God church in Ruskin Florida, and the First Pentecostal of God in Bedford. She was also very active in the Senior Citizens Center in Bedford. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day and Carter Mortuary with Rev. Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Hilltop Cemetery Friends may call from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13th at the Day and carter Mortuary.
