Obituary of John Paul Arthur

Bargersville John Paul Arthur, 81, of 310 Southway Ct., Bargersville, IN, died at 11:30 am on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Select Speciality Hospital in Orlando, FL. Born March 4, 1926 in Bloomington, he was the son of Claude E. and Lillie Goldie (Fisher) Arthur. He married Rumi S. Nakano on September 9, 1946 and she survives. He was a tech. writer for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis, IN and a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Navy. Surviving with his wife, Rumi of Bargersville are four daughters, Lillie Cockerham and her husband, Terry of Norman, IN, Betty Howard and her husband, Dick of Tucson, AZ, Mary Jane Case and her husband, Michael of Bloomington and Paula Justice and her husband, Kenny of Bargersville; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pearl Arthur. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 6th at the Liberty Church, 3489 N. Co. Road 1250W. in Norman, IN. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Liberty Church.
