Obituary of Amelia Alice Graves
Bedford-Amelia Alice Graves, 98, of Bedford died at 6:55 pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born March 16, 1913 in Indianapolis, IN. She married John E. Graves and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford. Amelia was an artist, singer, volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a talk radio host for the Bedford and Bloomington radio stations.
Survivors include; two sons: Raymond Gary Graves and his wife Debbie of Springville, Daniel Lee Graves and his wife Judith of Greensburg; one daughter: Pacha L. Grissom and her husband Jim of Cedarburg, WI; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 brothers: Charles, George, and Claude Sides. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13th 2011 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow Clover Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday, December 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
