Obituary of Auddie Arthur

Medora Auddie Pete Arthur, 76, of 205 N. Co. 975 W., Medora, formerly of Owensburg, Indiana, died at 3:00 am on Friday, May 12, 2006 at his residence. Born November 6, 1929 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Claude and Stella (Brown) Arthur. He married Nellie Crane on August 3, 1968 and she survives. He was an orchard worker. Survivors include his wife, Nellie of Medora; four step-sons, John Crane of Mitchell, Billy Crane of Orleans, Randall Crane of Linton and Stephen Crane of New Orleans; one step-daughter, Brenda Silvers of Medora; twelve step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nora E. Arthur of Greene Co. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and four sisters Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 15th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, May 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
