Obituary of Gene W. Gore

Bedford Gene Gore, 70, of Springville, died at 7:35 pm Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Westview Rehab & Nursing Home. Born on February 16, 1934 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Onis and Lelah (White) Gore. He married Patricia Romer on June 25, 1966 and she survives. He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are the wife, Patricia, four sons, Thomas Gore of Bloomington, John Edward Gore of Guthrie, James Ernest Gore of Bedford, Jeff Gore of Bloomington, one daughter, Rebecca Godsey of Bedford, one sister, Etta Hall of Bedford, one brother, James W. Gore of Fayettville and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Gore. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 13, 2004 at 10:00 am at Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Silverville. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at Day & Carter Mortuary.
