Obituary of Rayjean Gerkin

Bedford Rayjean Gerkin, 48, of 1082 Sunny Acres Drive, Bedford, died at 12:40 am on Monday, May 28, 2012 at her residence. Born May 1, 1964 in Ft. Worth, TX, she was the daughter of James A. and Judy (Ahrens) Veal. She married Danny J. Gerkin on August 25, 1984 and he survives. She was the store manager at Verizon in Bedford and a member of the First Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Danny, of Bedford; her father, James, of Bedford; two sons, Toby Alan Gerkin and Taylor Austin Gerkin both at home; one brother, James A. Veal of Columbus, IN. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 2nd at the First Church of God in Bedford with Pastor Travis Inman officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, June 2nd at the First Church of God.
