Obituary of Mildred Gee-Wever

Williams-Mildred Gee-Wever, 89 of 15 Kern Street Williams died at 8:30 pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the home of her son. Born January 3, 1919 in Peerless she was the daughter of Alva and Clara (Turpin) Owens. She married Morris R. Cotton Gee on January 18, 1936 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1979, she then married Winford Wever and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Williams. Survivors include one son: Morris Duane Gee and his wife Anna of Bedford; two grandchildren: Dezarae Johnson and her husband Brent of Vincennes, and Kyle Gee and his wife Audrey of Bedford; four great grandchildren: Karlie and Nicholas Johnson and Gaven and Jerzee Gee; one sister in law Nellie Owens; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one son; Jackie Lee Gee; one daughter: Kathy Diane Gee, four brothers: Cecil, Owen, Ralph, Edward Owens; three sisters: Francis Pruett, Dorothy Inman, and Mary Simmerman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 21st 2008 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Adams and Pastor Tom East officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 20th 2008 and 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
