Obituary of Geneva G. Gardner

Bedford-Geneva G. Gardner, 87, of 19 Forrest Park Drive, passed away at 7:47 P.M. Friday, December 12th at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on November 30, 1916 in Bentonsport, Iowa, she was the daughter of John Gardner and Anna (Corns) Gardner. She was a Homemaker and a former owner of Cresthaven Memory Park. Mrs. Gardner was a member of First United Methodist Church and Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She married Stephen Buck in 1934 and he died in 1954, she then married Ralph Gardner in 1961 and he survives. Surviving with her husband of Bedford is one daughter: Judith Ann Adamson of Greenwood, IN and one son: Stephen Buck of Sun City, AZ; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Lula of Chicago, IL and Betty of Sarasota, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 16th at 2:00 P.M. in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30 until 12:00 Noon at Day & Carter Mortuary.
