Obituary of Will D. Fortner
Bedford Will D. Fortner, 29, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at his residence.
Born May 3, 1985 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of William Fortner and Betty (Walker) Arthur. He was the co-owner of the Olde Downtown Tavern and the New World Famous Hideaway Lounge.
Survivors include a son, Peyton Fortner; a daughter, Kyla Fortner; his mother, Betty, of Bedford; two sisters, Patty Allen and husband, Bradley, of Bedford and Jean Hatcher of Mitchell; three nephews, Tyler Allen and Marcus Allen both of Bedford, Brayton Hatcher; a niece, Lexi Hatcher both of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandmother, Mary Melendez; an uncle, Kenneth Melendez; an aunt, Anna Melendez and a nephew, Kiven Gillespie. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
