Obituary of Dempsey Ford

Springville Dempsey Ford, 72, of 1774 Popcorn Road, Springville, IN, died at 2:25 am on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born April 22, 1938 in Oregon, he was the son of Coy and Olive (Hardin) Ford. He married Jacqueline Miller on December 23, 1959 and she survives. He was a mechanic. Surviving with his wife, Jacqueline of Springville are two sons, Stephen Ford of Bedford and Randy Ford of Springville; four granddaughters; two grandsons; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Gary, Larry and Billy Ford; three sisters, Barbara, Ellen McQueen and Betty. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, two brothers, two sons, Dewayne and Danny. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 29th and from 12:00 noon until the hour service on Friday, April 30th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
