Obituary of Linda Kay Ford

Bedford Linda Kay (Watterson) Ford, 54, of 1114 17th Street, Apt. 4, Bedford, died at 4:00 am on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born July 1, 1953 in Paris, IL, she was the daughter of Cecil Earl and Ruby (Stevens) Watterson. She married Kenneth Ford and he survives. She was a homemaker. Linda enjoyed going to yard sales with her mom, shopping at Wal-Mart and dining out. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, of Bedford; her mother, Ruby, of Bedford; a son, Bill Allen and his wife, Missy, of Bedford; a daughter, Amanda Hamilton of Mitchell; two sisters, Connie Sue Christensen of Bedford, Betty Lou McClusky and her husband, Joe, of Oolitic; two brothers, James Edward Watterson and his wife, Gaynelle of Bedford, Cecil Watterson and his wife, Janet of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Matthew and Katelyn Allen, Terry and Jonathan Hamilton. She was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Watterson and a son, Tony Ray Allen (in infancy). Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 11th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Steve Goens officiating. Burial will follow in the Leatherwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
