Obituary of Morris Robert Ford

Heltonville-Morris Robert Henry Ford, 82, of 1530 Pleasant Run Road died at 5:30 pm on Friday, February 6th at Bloomington Hospital. Born August 16, 1926 he was the son of Opal and Mary (Stafford) Ford. He married Josephine Henderson and she preceded him in death on May 24, 1995. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Heltonville Christian Church. He was retired from General Motors as a water treatment worker. Survivors include two sons: John Ford and Sharlene of Heltonville, Butch Ford and Sharon of Yoder, IN ; three daughters: Julie Hensley and Mark of Martinsville, Polly Prince and Kenny of Heltonville, Mary Beth Smith and Dwight of Heltonville; 10 grandchildren: Jess, Heather, Recina, Denise, Clayton, Shane, Robert Heath and wife Dr. Ashley Armstrong, Heidi, Seth and Alicia; six great grandchildren: Jason, Shelby, Alissa, Jacob, Natasha, and Skyler; three brothers; Ken, Bill, and Paul E.; two sisters Joann and Jane. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00A.M. on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with John Wisley officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm on Monday and from 10:00 until the service hour on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
