Obituary of Vicki Elaine Flynn
Bedford Vicki Elaine Flynn, 48, of 2958 Broadview Drive, Bedford, died at 5:30 am on Monday, September 12, 2005 at the home of her special friend and caregiver, Suzi Mowery.
Born September 12, 1957 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Hansel and Barbara (Kirkman) Flynn. She had been a medical assistant for Dr. Jesseph in Bloomington and later was a directory assistance operator for SBC for eleven years. She was a graduate of BNL with the class of 1975 and Watterson College. Vicki was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Bedford and a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She cherished her children and grandchildren. Her friends will remember her for her generous heart. She loved people and to know her was to love her. Though her life was so short, she will never be forgotten.
Survivors include one son, T.J. Goodlett of Bedford; one daughter, Jessica Hudson and her husband, Jayson of Bedford; three grandchildren, Jada, Jaythan and Jackson; two brothers, Rick Flynn and his wife, Linda of Bedford and John Richard Flynn of Bloomington; one niece, Andrea Roberts and her husband, Van; one nephew, Rickie Flynn; two aunts, Mona Turner and her husband, Frank and Mary McDowell and her husband, Opal; four uncles, Jim Kirkman and his wife, Mary, Larry Flynn and his wife, Marlon; Howard Flynn and Harold Flynn and his wife, Louise; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Edna Flynn, John and Bernice Flynn, Cornie and Tressie Kirkman; cousin, Mark L. Turner and uncle, Jack Kirkman. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 15th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jim McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemtery in Avoca. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14th and from 9:00 am until the hour of services at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers are: Rickie Flynn, Van Roberts, Jayson Hudson, Jim Woody, Dr. Dennis Turner and Larry Kirkman.
