Obituary of Harold Johnson

Bedford Harold (Doc) Johnson, 73, of 2718 Washington Ave., Bedford, died at 12:20 am on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the Hospitality House in Bedford. Born August 29, 1930 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Vearl and Flossie (Robertson) Johnson. He married Juanita Martin and she preceded him in death in 1996. He was a retired maintenance worker at the Hauck House in Bedford and had been employed as a quarry worker at Indiana Limestone Co. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM. Survivors include one son, Steven Gib Johnson of Bloomington; one sister, Donna Sue Johnson of Bedford; two grandchildren, Jonathon Johnson Smythe and Mistee Nichols; four great grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Doni Donnetta Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Mike Johnson; three brothers, Gerald, Wayne and Dale Johnson and one sister, Sharon Rose. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 11th at the Judah Cemetery with Rev. Ted Blaker officiating.
