Obituary of Donald Dean Fish

Bedford Donald Dean Fish, 78, of Bedford, died at 11:06 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born October 8, 1934 in Bedford, he was the son of Eathel and Grace (Anderson) Fish. He married Barbara Mae Gerkin on August 18, 1951 and she survives. He retired as the Executive Vice President of Operations for W. F. Meyers Co. in Bedford. He enjoyed mountain climbing on Mt. Saint Helen, hiking and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Bedford; children, Gary (Gail) Fish of Oolitic, Pamela (Lee) Colglazier of Campbellsburg, Phillip (Carman) Fish of Bedford, Karen (Jim) Murnane of Oolitic, Ronald Fish of Solsberry and Tracey Fish of Bedford; seventeen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William Bill Fish and Eathel Pete Fish; a sister, Anita Thomason Lockridge and one great grandchild Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Nick Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 14th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, November 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
