Obituary of William Claude Fines

Bedford William Claude Fines, 86, of 126 Kentucky Hollow Road, Bedford, IN, died at 9:00 am on Monday, February 16, 2004 at his residence. Born March 14, 1917 he was the son of Oliver and Emma (Miller) Fines. He married Geraldine Hayes on August 12, 1939 and she preceded him in death. He was a retired sales representative for the Triangle & Leahy Company in Bedford and a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include one daughter, Claudia Marshall and her husband, Kim; two grandsons, Dustin Marshall and his wife, Anissa and Ryan Marshall all of Bedford; one great granddaughter, Isabella Marshall of Bedford and one sister, Lorene Giese of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, Charles (Jack), Alfred (Abe), Oliver, Jr. (Junior), Terrell (Terry) Fines and three sisters, Catherine (Cat) Stephenson, Imo Webber and Alma Johnson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 19th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Fred Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
