Obituary of Lois S. Fields

Bedford Lois S. Fields, 65, of 160 S. Leatherwood Road, Bedford, died at 4:45 am on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at her residence. Born June 19, 1942 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Gladwin Barney and Kathlene (Butler) Kubu. She married Larry Fields on May 29, 1965 and he survives. She retired from the NWSC CRANE as an ordinance worker in 1994. Lois was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved animals, flowers antiques and was an avid collector of many things. She enjoyed drawing and was quite artistic. Surviving with her husband, Larry, are three sons, Keith and Stacy Fields both of Bedford and John Fields of Seymour, IN; three grandchildren, Joshua, Samual and Makala; one sister, Carol Prathatakus of South Bend, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
