Dear Faris Family: I knew Don while I was a member of the ham club (we're talking 1966-67).
I am truly sorry for your loss. Mr. Faris lived a great run. I hope he slept peacefully. When a ham passes away, they become a silent key. Mr. Faris was a great role model to me. I truly will miss him.
Know that I knew him to be a good and decent man. Also know that his influence greatly influenced my life. May God bless each of you.
