Obituary of Frank Embree

Bedford Frank Embree, 90, of 6458 Williams Road, Bedford, died at 9:51 pm on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born November 23, 1918 in Bryantsville, IN, he was the son of James and Elon (Taylor) Embree. He married Mary Padgett on March 11, 1937 and she survives. He was a farmer and member of the Williams Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Donna Mitchell and husband, Mike of Crawfordsville, IN; two sons, David Embree and wife, Jennifer of Livonia, IN, Duane Embree and wife, Doreen of Williams; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, five sisters and one son, Donald Embree. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 15th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Allen Burris officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
