Obituary of Marilyn Lane Elmore

Bedford Marilyn Lane Elmore, 82, of Bedford, died at 4:45 pm on Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born October 15, 1924 in French Lick, IN, she was the daughter of E. Earl and Macy (Lane) MacDonald. She married Gene Elmore on July 17, 1943 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church and the Tri Kappa Sorority. She had been a volunteer at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Survivors include two daughters, Llana Marton and her husband, Ken of Scottsdale, AZ and Chris Kime and her husband, Nick of New Albany, IN; two grandchildren, Michael Isom of New Albany, IN and Kimberly Weir of Louisville, KY; four great grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Jean Prentice. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 16th at Cresthaven Mausoleum with Rev. Bud Kielhorn officiating. Entombment will follow.
