Obituary of Juanita Sue Johnson

Bedford Juanita Sue Johnson, 69 of Bedford died at Stonebridge Health campus, Monday, October 29, 2007. Born, July 19, 1938, she was the daughter of Ollie and Mildred (Porter) Henry. She was a homemaker. She married Ivory Johnson on July 21, 1955 and he survives. She loved her children and all her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in her many flowerbeds. She had a passion for writing poems and telling stories to all her grandchildren. Playing bingo, scrabble, card games, making crafts and fishing were some of her favorite hobbies. She was active and resided at Stonebridge Health campus and made many friends among the staff and other residents. Her humor will be greatly missed by all. She had four children; James Edward Johnson preceded her in death, Teresa Lee (Johnson) Stevens, Judith Ellen (Johnson) Guthrie and Thomas Scott Johnson, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one on the way. She has gone to heaven to be with her father, mother, sister, Mary Alice, son James Edward and one daughter-in-law, Harriet Johnson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2007 with Pastor Jim Russell officiating.
